Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals to work with children, teens, and young adults with developmental, social, and emotional needs in their homes and communities in Rhode Island. The position offers part-time hours (6-20) with after-school, evening, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include implementing behavior plans, data collection, and collaborating with a clinical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of supervised experience with children or an Associate’s Degree in Human Services is acceptable.
• Able to pass DCYF, BCI background checks and maintain driving record.
• Bi-lingual applicants encouraged to apply.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship; access to reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with individuals aged 3–21 with special needs.
• Implement behavior plans and programs developed by the clinical supervisor.
• Teach, role-model, and implement treatment interventions and strategies.
• Collect daily data for progress tracking.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, families and the clinical team.

Skills

Education
