Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals to work with children, teens and young adults ages 3-21 with developmental, social, and emotional needs in their homes and community. Part-time positions 6-20 hours with after-school, evening and weekend hours are available.

Responsibilities include implementing behavior plans, teaching and modeling, collecting daily data, and maintaining professional relationships with clients, families, and the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 (PASS) or 19 (HBTS/ABA).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass clearances (DCYF, BCI, Driving Record) required.
• Valid car insurance and registration.
• One year of supervised experience with children or an Associate’s Degree in Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with individuals aged 3–21 with special needs.
• Implement behavior plans and programs developed by the clinical supervisor.
• Teach, role-model, implement treatment interventions and strategies.
• Collect daily data.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and clinical team members.
