Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals to work with children, teens, and young adults with developmental, social, and emotional needs, in homes and community settings.

Part-time positions (6-20 hours) include after school, evening, and weekend hours. The roles may include HBTS, ABA and PASS programs; fluency in English and Spanish is required, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pass clearances (DCYF, BCI, Driving Record) is required.
• Valid car insurance and registration are required.
• One year of supervised experience with children, or an Associate’s Degree in Human Services, or demonstrate competency to work with children with special health care needs.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with individuals aged 3–21 with special needs.
• Implement behavior plans and interventions developed by the clinical supervisor.
• Teach, role-model, and implement treatment strategies.
• Collect daily data for progress tracking.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, families and clinical team.
