Job summary

Venture-Community-Service seeks a Part-time Direct Support Professional to assist developmentally disabled individuals in residential and community settings. You will monitor health, provide daily care, and support medications, meals, finances, and transportation under the Residential House Manager.

Hours are 14 per week with a pay range of $17.50 to $19.00 per hour, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus for new full-time employees.

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR certifications may be required.
• Ability to advocate and establish rapport with the disabled population and their families.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to monitor health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor individuals for health and safety; provide daily care in residential/community settings.
• Assist with transfers, activities of daily living, and personal hygiene tasks.
• Support medical appointments, nutrition, finances, and transportation as needed.
• Maintain daily records, plan leisure activities, and participate in meetings and trainings.
