WE SUPPORT YOU LLC is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Allendale, NJ. This role focuses on providing personalized care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping with daily living activities, transportation, and community integration.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid, pass background checks, and be able to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

About the Role:

WE SUPPORT YOU LLC is looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Allendale, NJ. Hours:

• Monday - Thursday 3:30pm-6:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and assistance to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD)
• Support clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
• Assist with community integration, transportation, and recreational activities
• Administer medications and monitor health needs per established protocols
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members
• Respond appropriately to behavioral challenges using approved intervention techniques

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
