WE SUPPORT YOU LLC in Oak Ridge, NJ seeks a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide personalized care for individuals with disabilities. The role includes assisting with ADLs, implementing ISPs, and supporting community participation.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is expected, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or in a related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with IDD.
• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meals, and other ADLs.
• Implement ISPs and document progress accurately.
• Transport and accompany clients to appointments, outings, and activities.
• Administer medications and follow health care protocols as directed.
• Foster independence, dignity, and community inclusion for all individuals served.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and care team members.
