WE SUPPORT YOU LLC is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities across multiple NJ counties. The role focuses on personalized care, daily living support, and community outings with a shared mission to enhance independence.

The schedule is part-time (Wednesdays 12pm-5pm) with potential for additional shifts. A patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach is essential to succeed in this rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in direct care, caregiving, or human services preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assistance to individuals with IDD.
• Support clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately.
• Assist with community integration, transportation, and recreational activities.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members.
• Respond appropriately to behavioral challenges using approved intervention techniques.

Schedule:

Every Wednesday 12pm-5pm. Pick up in Pompton Lakes from work and go out into the community for a few hours then bring Individual home in Cedar Grove.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and assistance to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD)

Support clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
