Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will help with daily living activities, promote independence, and document progress in ISPs.

This role offers a fixed starting rate of $18.50/hour, weekend and holiday shifts, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with employer match, PTO, and growth opportunities through paid training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to assist individuals with personal cares and activities of daily living (ADLs).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including behavioral support needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living, household tasks, meal prep, shopping, budgeting, appointments, and community activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Promote independence, personal choice, and life skills development.
• Support individuals in achieving ISPs goals and document progress.
• Observe and report changes or concerns to supervisors and team.
• Transport individuals to appointments and community activities as needed.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation per program and regulatory requirements.
