Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community-based programs.

You will help with daily living activities, transportation, and documentation while promoting independence and choice. We offer a fixed starting rate of $18.50/hr, comprehensive benefits for FT employees, paid training, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of auto insurance.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living, household tasks, meals, budgeting, and community activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Promote independence and life skills development.
• Support ISPs and document progress.
• Observe and communicate changes to supervisors.
• Transport individuals to appointments and activities as needed.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation on time.
