Job summary

Dungarvin is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help individuals meet goals in their ISPs with compassionate, person-centered care.

The role offers a fixed starting rate of $18.50/hr, various schedules including weekends and holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to assist individuals with personal cares and activities of daily living (ADLs).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living, household tasks, meal prep, budgeting, and community activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Promote independence and person-centered supports.
• Document progress and ISPs as required.
• Observe changes and communicate with supervisors and team.
• Transport individuals to appointments and activities as needed.
