Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services in Youngstown, OH is hiring Direct Support Professionals on full- or part-time schedules. Training is provided, with CPR, First Aid andMedication Administration courses. No experience is required, and there are paid benefits and a variety of shifts.

Interview days are Tuesdays 10AM–12PM at our office, located at 4740 Belmont Ave., Youngstown. Join a team helping individuals with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
• Valid OH driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs, and can kneel, crouch and balance.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to foster independence and safety.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of their life.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
