Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services in Ohio is seeking a Behavioral Support Specialist (DSP) Direct Support to provide compassionate, in-home care. Training is provided fully, no prior experience required, and the role pays $17.30–$18.30 per hour with 1st and 2nd part-time shifts available.

You will assist individuals with developmental disabilities, promote independence, perform light household tasks, and support daily living needs.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.
