Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training is provided in full, so no prior experience is required.

This role offers paid training including CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration, a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, paid time off, annual pay increases and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
