Legacy Treatment Services in New Jersey seeks caring individuals to support people with intellectual/developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. Starting wage is $15.92/hour with a $2.00 weekend shift differential; benefits include health, life and retirement options.

Role promotes community inclusion, reports to the Community Home Manager, and requires completion of mandated trainings and background checks. Shift supervision and medication assistance may be involved.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to frequently lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must pass mandatory trainings including Crisis Management, CPR and First Aid.
• Operate vehicles per laws and policy requirements.
• Clear background checks including CHRI.
• NJ DHS Central Registry clearance required.
• Complete any mandated trainings as assigned.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and random screens.
• CARI clearance required.

Aufgaben

• Support individuals in daily living activities, health management, and personal care.
• Assist in Developing and implementing ISP and attend Planning Team meetings.
• Complete required paperwork accurately (logs, ISP data, etc.).
• Comply with organizational policies and licensing standards.
• Cooperate with licensing and investigations staff as needed.
• Demonstrate ethical and professional conduct at all times.
• Support mission and values of Legacy Treatment Services.
• Ensure program resources meet client needs and safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and risk management.
• Assist with high-quality individual support plans implementation.
