Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services in New Jersey seeks caregivers for Adolescent Programs (3p-11p). The role supports individuals in homes and communities, promoting inclusion and personal goals under supervision.

The position offers benefits, a $2.00 weekend differential, and opportunities for professional development. Reporting to the Community Home Manager, you will help with daily living activities and plan participation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass mandated trainings including Crisis Management, CPR and First Aid.
• Operate vehicles safely in compliance with laws and policies.
• Must be cleared for employment under CHRI.
• Clearance from NJ DHS Central Registry for individuals with disabilities is required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and participate in random screens.
• Must be cleared through the CARI check.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and health management.
• Participate in ISP development and planning team meetings.
• Complete required paperwork and logs accurately.
• Follow Aurora Staffing policies and licensing standards.
• Coordinate with families and program staff as assigned.
• Administer medications as needed.
• Transport clients in company vehicles.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
• Support program operations and quality improvement efforts.
