RHD in Delaware seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for its behavioral health residential program. You will assist individuals with daily living activities, support independent living skills, and help them engage in community and recreational activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Delaware Driver’s License with three years driving history.
• Ability to meet organizational driving requirements.
• Experience in behavioral health, IDD, or residential/human services preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meals, and routines.
• Support development of independent living skills and personal responsibility.
• Assist with medication routines per agency policies.
• Encourage participation in community, recreational, educational, and social activities.
• Collaborate with supervisors, nurses, clinicians, family, and team members.
• Document accurately under HIPAA and regulatory guidelines.
• Respond to crisis using approved interventions.
