Supportive Concepts for Families in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Residential Specialist. This full-time role offers paid training and opportunities to earn DailyPay, with a mission to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities lead meaningful, independent lives.

You’ll provide direct care, support daily living skills, accompany clients to activities, and help create a safe, welcoming home environment while following individualized plans

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide hands-on support and physical assistance when needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Support daily living skills and independence.
• Help individuals participate in community activities, appointments, and social events.
• Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
• Follow individualized support plans and goals.
