Job summary

RHD Delaware – Residential Services in Raleigh, NC seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to help individuals reach personal goals while ensuring safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Six (6) months to one (1) year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care & Daily Living: support with activities of daily living and medication assistance.
• Assist individuals in developing independent living skills and ISP goals.
• Promote community inclusion through recreation and community activities.
• Document services accurately and maintain confidentiality per policies.
• Collaborate with Residential Managers, clinical staff, families, and partners.
