Resources for Human Development (RHD) seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Behavioral Health Residential services in Delaware. You will help individuals with daily living activities, support independent skills, and encourage community involvement in a mission-driven environment.

The role focuses on compassionate, patient care, team collaboration, and maintenance of safe, respectful living spaces, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Delaware Driver’s License required.
• Minimum three (3) years of acceptable driving history.
• Ability to meet organizational driving requirements.

Aufgaben

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (hygiene, grooming, meals, routines).
• Support development of independent living skills and personal responsibility.
• Assist with medication routines per agency policies.
• Encourage participation in community, recreational, educational, and social activities.
• Provide guidance and positive role modeling to build confidence and life skills.
• Monitor for crisis signs and respond using approved interventions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive residential environment.
• Document accurately per HIPAA and agency standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors, nurses, clinicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
