Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will assist with daily activities, meals, and recreational and learning activities, while promoting independence and well‑being.

Ideal candidates have experience with disabilities, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Starting pay is $18.35 per hour with increases upon medication certification, plus a comprehensive

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Empathy, enthusiasm and dedication to helping others are important.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience is required.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities, including household chores, meal preparation and transportation.
• Support participation in recreation, learning activities and physical fitness.
• Represent the needs, wants and interests of individuals served and contribute to program planning.
