Aspire Living & Learning in Massachusetts seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will assist with daily activities, chores, meals, recreation, learning, and fitness, advocating for residents' needs.

Ideal candidates have experience with disabilities, strong communication, basic computer skills (Therap helpful), and a valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Basic computer skills; Therap experience a plus.
• Valid driver''s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct support with daily activities, including household chores, meal preparation, recreational activities, learning activities, and physical fitness.
• Represent the needs, wants, and interests of individuals served and contribute input on program planning and implementation.
• Maintain respectful, person-centered interactions and support residents in developing independence.
