Job summary

The Chimes is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at $20.25/hour to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence. Join a mission-driven nonprofit with training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team environment.

You will provide hands-on support, assist with daily living activities, and follow individualized care plans while promoting safety and community participation. A valid U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in disability services preferred (not required—we train!).
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable driving history requirements: 3 years unsuspended with ≤3 points, or 2 years unsuspended with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications per policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some roles may require travel between Residential and Day programs.
