Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Two-week paid orientation (hybrid and in person).
• Sound judgment, calm decision making, and ability to seek support when needed.
• Empathy, reliability, and teamwork in supporting adults with autism and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in residential group homes or vocational day programs.
• Help ensure safety, health, and well-being of individuals in care.
• Coach daily living skills like cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
• Support planning, implementation, and documentation of programs addressing social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community-based employment, day programs, and outings.
• Build strong relationships with families to support the individuals’ success.
• Safely transport individuals to appointments, day programs, and community activities.
