Seven Hills Foundation is hiring a Direct Support Professional I to care for adolescents in a 24/7 residential setting in Groton, MA. You’ll provide direct supervision, support daily living activities, and contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment that fosters growth and resilience.

Responsibilities include building trust with youth, applying trauma-informed practices, and maintaining accurate shift notes and records.

Qualifications

• Trauma-informed care approach for adolescents.
• Ability to establish trust with youth while maintaining boundaries.
• Experience with crisis de-escalation techniques.
• Accurate completion of shift notes and medication/incident records.
• Commitment to HIPAA and confidentiality policies.]
• Valid driver’s license preferred or required for transportation duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to youth in a 24/7 residential setting.
• Build trusting, professional relationships with youth and staff.
• Support emotional regulation and trauma-informed environment.
• Assist with meals, personal care, laundry, chores, and activities.
• Monitor safety, respond to crises using de-escalation techniques and approved interventions.
• Complete shift notes, medication documentation, incident reports, and records.
• Collaborate with supervisors and multidisciplinary team for consistent care.
• Attend required trainings and maintain dependable presence on each shift.
