Job summary

Achieva in Greensburg, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to promote health, safety, and well-being for individuals with disabilities. You will support daily living, community involvement, and personal development while advocating for personal choice and dignity. No experience is required—training is provided.

A GED or high school diploma is required; a PA driver's license and reliable vehicle are preferred. You must pass background checks (Act 33/Act 34).

• Able to pass required background checks (Act 33 and Act 34).

Responsibilities

• Understands, supports, and advocates with people we support by helping them live a life of personal significance.
• Identifies, documents, and shares concerns and successes as appropriate.
• Transports and accompanies people to activities, appointments, and events.
• Helps with personal care tasks as needed, laundry, and food preparation.
• Assists with money management by promoting independence
• Completes service documentation/notes in Therap on the same day service is provided in accordance with agency guidelines.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Details: Job Location: Westmoreland Office - Greensburg, PA 15601, Position Type: Full Time, Pay Rate: $18 - $20/hour (based on experience and credentialing) Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000 Location: Greensburg

You’ll support daily living activities, community engagement, and personal development, while advocating for individual choice and dignity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transports and accompanies people to activities, appointments, and events.
• Helps with personal care tasks as needed, laundry, and food preparation.
• Assists with money management by promoting independence

QUALIFICATIONS:

• No previous experience required – we provide all the training you’ll need!
• GED or High School Diploma required
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle preferred.
