Job summary

Achieva in Greentree, PA is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support people with disabilities in daily living, community engagement, and personal development while honoring individual choice and dignity.

This full-time, hourly DSP role offers a path for development with DSP I–III steps, a sign-on bonus up to $2,000, and benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
• Ability to complete one-person physical transfers.
• Must meet Act 33/34 clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in leading meaningful lives through community and personal engagement.
• Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, laundry, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Promote independence through support with budgeting and daily living skills.
• Accompany individuals to appointments, recreational activities, and community events.
• Document individual progress, successes, and concerns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) plays a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll support daily living activities, community engagement, and personal development, while advocating for individual choice and dignity.

Career Development

• DSP I: +$0.50/hour
• DSP II: +$0.50/hour
• DSP III: +$1.00/hour
• Front Line Supervisor (FLS) certification – pay increases and bonus incentives upon completion.
