YAI is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for their Bergen County residential programs. Candidates will assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting YAI's mission to support individuals in their communities.

The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including providing personal care, facilitating social activities, and ensuring safety and well-being. Positions are available for full-time or part-time schedules, offering compensation of $18.50/hour along with benefits including medical/dental insurance and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold or obtain and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift/move individuals and assist in emergency interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in maximizing their strengths and abilities.
• Support people to meet personal goals and engage in social activities.
• Ensure health, wellness, and safety by providing appropriate supervision.
