Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Selma, NC to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

This part-time role offers afternoon/evening hours, paid onboarding and training, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth. Prior behavior experience is preferred, and a compassionate, reliable candidate will make a real difference in

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma/GED.
Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.

Responsibilities

Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
Complete documentation and maintaining schedules.
Complete ongoing training and professional development.
