Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Selma, NC. Starting pay is $18.00/hour with part-time schedules and weekly pay.

You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. Paid onboarding and training are provided, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
