Job summary

DABS, Inc. provides comprehensive skills training and supported living services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We seek a dedicated Direct Support Professional to assist with daily tasks, accompany individuals on outings, document health changes, and support medication reminders.

Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within a mission-driven team. We offer full and part-time shifts including day, evening and overnight options, plus paid sick leave and

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle and insurance.
Willingness to undergo state and federal fingerprint background check.
CPR Certification and a TB test required or completed via company assistance.
Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

Support individuals with daily activities such as meal prep, light housekeeping, errands and personal hygiene.
Take individuals on community outings for appointments, errands or leisure.
Track and document changes in health and behavior to support care.
Assist with medication reminders or administration when needed.
Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
