Job summary

DABS, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is hiring Direct Support Professionals to empower independence and dignity for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily tasks, accompany clients on community outings, and document changes in health and behavior.

We offer full and part-time positions with flexible shifts, paid sick leave, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for growth. CPR and TB test supported; background checks required.

Qualifications

• A caring heart and a commitment to helping others live with dignity and independence.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and insurance.
• Willingness to undergo a state and federal fingerprint background check.
• CPR Certification and a recent TB test (we can help you obtain both if needed).
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus—but if you bring passion and dedication, we’ll provide the training.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily activities including meals, light housekeeping, errands, and personal hygiene.
• Take individuals on community outings for appointments or recreation.
• Track and document changes in health and behavior to support care.
• Assist with medication reminders or administration when needed.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure comprehensive support.
