Job summary

DABS, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily activities and skill building. You will help with meals, housekeeping, errands, and personal care to promote greater independence.

You will accompany individuals on community outings, track health and behavior, and support with medication reminders as needed. We offer growth opportunities and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Empathy and commitment to dignity and independence.
• Ability to obtain a state and federal background check.
• CPR certification and TB test required or obtainable through employer.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily activities such as meals, light housekeeping, errands, and personal hygiene.
• Take individuals on community outings for appointments and recreation.
• Track and document changes in health and behavior to support care.
• Provide medication reminders or administration when needed.
• Collaborate with a care team to ensure comprehensive support.
