Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a group home. The part-time, on-site position supports individuals with IDD by assisting with daily living tasks and community integration.

You'll help with housekeeping, meal prep, personal care, transportation, scheduling, and daily documentation in the health system. Entry-level training is provided, and benefits include competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll play a critical role in carrying out that mission by helping people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals living in our group home in Raleigh, NC.

Openings:

Part-time:

- 7 PM - 7 AM Saturday and Sunday

- 7 AM - 7 PM Saturday and Sunday

Full Time:

- 11 PM - 7 AM Monday-Friday

Your Role in Our Mission

• You will provide care in the home of the individual and the community they live in
• Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning; personal care such as bathing and dressing; and employment ... set
• You may transport the client to appointments and run errands
• Help plan and organize their schedule
• Daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record
