Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with IDD in our Raleigh, NC group home. This on-site, part-time role emphasizes helping residents with daily living tasks, personal care, and community integration.

You will work Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm, with local travel. Compensation is $15.00 per hour, and benefits include training, 403(b) eligibility, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic housekeeping, nutrition, and safety knowledge.
• Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability required.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the home of the individual and the community they live in.
• Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning; personal care such as bathing and dressing; and employment support.
• You may transport the client to appointments and run errands.
• Help plan and organize their schedule.
• Daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll play a critical role in carrying out that mission by helping people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals living in our group home in Raleigh, NC.

Position details: Full Time Mon to Fri 2pm to 10pm
Location: Zebulon, NC, with regular local community travel
Compensation: $15.00/hour

Your Role in Our Mission
