Community Access Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Hillsboro, Oregon. This full-time DSP role offers paid training, competitive hourly wages, and opportunities to help individuals with IDD build independence and community involvement.

You’ll work with a team to provide personalized care, support daily living activities, and promote safety, dignity, and quality of life. Prior caregiving experience is welcome but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required for all day-shift and swing-shift positions.
• Ability to pass a national background check.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily living support including personal care, meals, and household tasks.
• Support community engagement through recreational activities and outings.
• Help individuals build life skills and pursue personal goals.
• Encourage self-advocacy, dignity, and informed choice.
• Record services accurately and communicate changes to supervisors.
