Community Access Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals for The Dalles, OR. Earn $21.75–$22.75 per hour with a $1,500 hiring bonus. No prior DSP experience required; paid training is provided to help you begin making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with IDD.

Qualifications

• Must be patient, reliable, and committed to helping others.
• Ability to pass a national background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility.
• Willingness to complete required training and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living Support: assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, meals, and household activities.
• Community Engagement: support participation in recreational activities and outings.
• Independence and Life Skills: help individuals build practical skills and confidence.
• Person-Centered Support: encourage self-advocacy and informed choice.
• Medication Support: provide medication assistance or administration as trained.
• Documentation and Communication: record services and report incidents.
• Team Collaboration: work with coworkers, families, and support network.
• Respect and Confidentiality: maintain professional boundaries and a safe environment.
