Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems - A Chimes Company in Wallingford, PA seeks a full-time Residential Behavioral Support staff to provide care, guidance, and program participation for individuals with intellectual disabilities in a community group home.

Under supervision, you will assist residents in achieving greater independence, act as a positive role model, and coordinate activities, transportation, and personal care while following individualized plans and maintaining safety and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federalClearance requirements are in place.
• Note: additional related experience/education may be substituted at the discretion of the Personnel Officer.

• Assist persons-served in reaching their goals of becoming more independent.
• Act as a positive role model for persons served.
• Provide guidance, instruction, coaching, and support, following individual plans.
• Engage individuals in beneficial programs and activities.
• Transport and accompany individuals into the community for appointments and outings.
• Directly assist with personal care as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and routine homemaking duties.
• Ensure safety of the person served including medical/medication needs.
• Apply approved behavior plans and intervention strategies as needed.
• Complete records and reports; collect data according to Agency policy.

Job Description

Under the general direction of the Division Manager of Residential Services, with specific supervision from the House Manager, is responsible for the provision of support, personal assistance, training, and quality care to people with intellectual disabilities residing in a community group home.

Schedule Details

Full-Time Shifts

• Tuesday - Saturday 4 pm - 12 am
• Friday - Saturday 8 am - 12 am

Pay Range

$17.50/hour

Job Duties

Minimum Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: None Required
• Licensure/Certifications: None Required
• Required Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
• Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
