Job summary

Verland CLA in Uniontown, PA seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide exceptional care to residents with complex needs in a full-time overnight role. The position offers a competitive starting wage and a signing bonus with comprehensive benefits after start date.

About this position

** New Wage $20.00/hr **$2,000 Sign on Bonus

Verland is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing Exceptional Care to the individuals that call Verland their Home.

House Name: Poplar House

Location: Uniontown, PA 15401

Shifts available:

Full Time- 40 hours

Week 1: 11pm - 7am, Sunday, Tuesday thru Friday

Week 2: 11pm - 7am, Monday thru Thursday, Saturday

Week 3: 11pm - 7am, Sunday thru Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for individualized care and ongoing support for people in our community with complex physical, medical and intellectual challenges. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

Contributions:

• Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment
• Introduce and encourage skill development through active treatment activities

2 weeks paid training provided by Verland, to educate new hires on daily living skills, social engagement, personal hygiene skills, along with each individual’s support plan/ personal development goals that are essential to improve the daily lives of the individuals that we serve.
