Oakridge Homes Float Team seeks dependable Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate, flexible care across multiple locations. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, medications, meals, and community activities to promote independence and safety.

The role features a training wage of $18 per hour for orientation and a Direct-Care wage of $24 per hour, with shifts available at various locations and a requirement to work a minimum of three shifts per month,

Formación

• Minimum 1–2 years of Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience or in a comparable direct-care role.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and varying care needs.
• Ability to adapt to different residential settings and care plans.
• Ability to work independently and provide safe, person-centered care.
• Must be 19+ years old and pass background checks and required training.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.

Oakridge Homes is seeking dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Float Team!

This flexible position allows employees to select available shifts that fit their schedules while providing meaningful support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and varying levels of care needs across multiple residential locations and communities.

Float DSPs assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, medication administration, meal preparations, community activities, and other responsibilities that promote independence, safety and quality of life.

Pay Information:

Training wage $18.00 per hour for non-direct care training activities, including orientation and staff meetings.

Direct-Care wage: $24.00 per hour

Flexible Scheduling:

• Choose from available shifts at multiple locations
• Work a minimum of three shifts per month
• At least one shift per month must be a weekend shift (Friday overnight through Sunday.)

Training is provided to prepare employees to work safely and confidently at assigned locations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or in a comparable direct-care position
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and varying levels of care needs
• Ability to adapt quickly to different residential settings, individual care plans, routines, and support requirements
• Ability to work independently and provide safe, dependable, person-centered care.
• Must be at least 19 years of age and meet organizational driving requirements.
• Must successfully complete required background checks and training
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
• Ability to use electronic health records and follow organizational policies and procedurs

Scheduling Requirements:

• Must work a minimum of 3 shifts per month.
• At least one shift per month must be a weekend shift defined as Friday overnight through Sunday.
• Must be willing to work at multiple Oakridge Homes locations based on available shifts and staffing needs
