Job summary

Trillium Services, Inc. in Duluth, MN is hiring a Full Time Float Direct Service Professional at $21.75 per hour. The Float DSP works at a variety of homes throughout the week, helping with daily living skills, community activities, and personal care.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of full-time DSP/PCA/CNA experience, a valid driver’s license, and access to an insured vehicle. A meaningful sign-on bonus and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to pass a Minnesota Background Study.
• Valid driver’s license and access to insured vehicle.
• Minimum of one year FT experience in direct care services.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with independent living and daily living skills.
• Provide personal and medical cares as needed.
• Support community participation and recreational activities.
• Work at multiple homes throughout the Duluth area.

Float Direct Support Professional (DSP) Job Overview:

What's a day like as a Float? A typical day is working with people on skills such as; cooking, cleaning, running errands, hiking, shopping, and enjoying the Duluth scenery! Being a Float DSP is rewarding and exciting. A Float DSP will work at a variety of homes throughout the week. We reimburse for mileage, expenses, and activities!

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate has at least one year of full-time work experience as a DSP, PCA or CNA. Also, the ideal candidate has a passion for supporting others; in addition to a willingness to maintain a flexible schedule of availability; days, evenings, weekends, etc. (not including overnights). The ideal candidate also has use of a reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver's license. The Float DSP is comfortable with supporting individuals with all levels of need.

Float Direct Support Professional (DSP) Job Description:

Float Direct Service Professionals will maintain a flexible schedule, enjoy supporting people, provide compassionate caregiving, and is a self-starter that loves to get out into the community. DSP Floats will receive a weekly schedule, and work at a variety of homes in the community. Position involves assistance with independent living skills in the home and out in the community, personal and medical cares, lifting and transferring, various recreational activities, and some weekends.

Float Direct Support Professional (DSP) Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to Maintain a Flexible Schedule
• Ability to pass a MN Background Study
• Valid Driver's License & Use of Insured Vehicle
• Minimum of One Year FT Experience in the Direct Care Services Field

Float Direct Support Professional (DSP) Schedule:

• 40 hours a week
• Weekly schedule
• Day and Evening Shifts
• Weekday and Weekend availability
• Work 4 weekend days per month
• No mandated shifts

Float DSP Salary:

• $21.75 per hour
