Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Prior experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or in a related field preferred.
Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation preferred (no more than 4 points on license).
Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately.
Transport and accompany clients to medical appointments, community activities, and errands.
Encourage client independence, skill-building, and community integration.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and care team members.
Respond appropriately to behavioral challenges using approved techniques and protocols.
