Job summary

Abound Health in Mercer County, PA is hiring Universal Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one and group-based support in homes, community settings, and licensed residential programs. We welcome compassionate, reliable DSPs with 2+ years of caregiving experience and a valid driver’s license to join our team.

This full-time role offers a $23.00 per hour wage, a $1,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates, weekend and evening schedules, and access to weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience required.
• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD.
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development
• Assist with recreational and community activities
• Follow treatment plans and document progress
• Provide companionship and respite care
• Submit documentation and payroll on time
• Participate in ongoing training
• Assist with personal care needs as required
• Work independently in home, community, and group home settings
