Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Franklin, NJ. Earn $23–$33/hour with a $1,000 signing bonus.

We offer paid onboarding and training, flexible full-time or part-time schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement. As a DSP, you will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live more independent lives while working in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required – we provide paid training and support.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintaining schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
