Job summary

Creative Foundations, a Help at Home company, is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and community in Columbus, Ohio. Compensation starts at $18/hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires.

Shifts include 7 AM–3 PM, 2 PM–11 PM, and overnight; weekend availability is required. DSPs provide one-on-one support, assist with daily living activities, promote independence, document progress, and collaborate with the

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful background check and required training.
At least 21 years old.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and communities.
Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation.
Encourage participation in social and community activities.
Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
Accurately document care, activities, and progress.
Communicate with team members to ensure consistent, quality support.
