Job summary

HELP Foundation Inc is seeking Direct Care Workers to support adults with developmental disabilities in residential facilities in Ohio. Under supervision, DSPs provide daily living assistance, monitor health, administer medications under supervision, and help with community activities.

Openings #6, #13, #16, #20, #24, #25 with varied evening/weekend schedules; starting pay $16.50/hour, up to $18.50 with certifications; benefits include PTO, holidays, health options, 401(k), referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of care experience or exposure to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal charting and record-keeping skills.
• Must maintain current Med Pass and CPR/First Aid Certification; training available on site.
• Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Come to work on time and in proper attire.
• Provide assistance in daily living skills and activities.
• Administer medications and monitor health, including vital signs.
• Document services provided and maintain accurate records.
• Transport consumers in agency or personal vehicles when needed.
• Ensure a clean, safe facility and assist with household tasks.
