Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Knightdale, NC to provide compassionate caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live more independently while building meaningful relationships.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs as required.
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and help individuals meet personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities (meals, hygiene, household tasks).
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound Health team, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
