Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Zebulon, NC. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live more independently.

The role offers starting pay of $15.40 per hour, plus a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments, along with flexible schedules, paid onboarding and training, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to pass background checks and healthcare registry.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
