ViaQuest, Inc. is recruiting Direct Support Professionals in Streetsboro to support individuals with developmental disabilities in facilities and homes.

Training is provided in full, no prior experience required, with options for full-time or part-time schedules. Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Personal, reliable vehicle that you are willing and able to use to transport individuals served.
• Valid OH driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs, and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – foster independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.
• Companion care / caregiving
