Job summary

Out of the Box Solutions, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Oregon to work one-on-one with individuals with ID/DD, helping with daily routines and personal goals in a respectful, empowering way.

You’ll support clients in community activities, follow care plans, document progress, and coordinate with families. Candidates should be reliable, communicative, and able to work independently; CPR/First Aid and a valid ODDS check are required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must pass all state-required background checks and meet ODDS employment eligibility requirements
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines (cooking, cleaning, personal care with the client)
• Help clients get into the community and stay engaged
• Follow care plans and goals
• Communicate with families and your team
• Complete notes and documentation
• Ensure safety and well-being at all times
