Job summary

Out of the Box Solutions is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work one-on-one with individuals with ID/DD, aiding daily routines, community involvement, and personal goals in a respectful, empowering manner.

You’ll follow care plans, document notes, and communicate with families and your team while ensuring safety and well-being throughout each shift. This role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to make a real difference.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation (Smartphone required).
• Must pass state-required background checks and ODDS employment eligibility.
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines (cooking, cleaning, personal care with the client).
• Help clients get into the community and stay engaged.
• Follow care plans and goals.
• Communicate with families and your team.
• Complete notes and documentation.
• Ensure safety and well-being at all times.
